Sound has been used to facilitate deep relaxation, peaceful states and healing for thousands of years. Our sound immersion sessions stimulate alpha and theta brainwaves associated with meditation, high creativity and sleep states that are conducive to healing.
The body is a bioelectrical system. Every organ, bone and cell is a sound resonator that has its own resonant frequency and when one element is out of tune it affects other elements in the body. The frequencies we employ in our sound sessions reduce vibratory dissonance and restore resonant, synchronous, vibratory equilibrium that can produce a deep sense of comfort and peace.
Sound frequencies resonate at the cellular level, bypass the mind and, therefore, go where words cannot. Modern research has established that resonant sound – soothing, beneficial frequencies and rhythms – reduces stress, pain and anxiety while slowing heart and respiratory rates, lowering blood pressure and re-calibrating the immune system.
